As far as external packs go, this stood out for 3 reasons. The frame was very stiff yet light. As a top loader, the top part expanded wider than the bottom compartment and functioned like a dry bag. This allowed a sleeping bag to fit in and the drawstring sealed. Lastly the waist/shoulder belt was well padded. My only reservation was the lack of a compartment to hold my canteen which I had gotten used to on my last backpack. Similar Products Used:
