at WorldWideSport.com Summary: I use the monitor first at my local gym to find my ideal heart rate before taking it out on my backpacking trips. Because going outside of the maximum heart rate can tire you out easily, using the monitor on the trails helps me maintain enough energy for those constant-uphill treks. The monitor also tracks the amount of calories burnt and the time spent on the trail.
The watch allows you to program your target heart rate zone manually or automatically. I suggest you to let the watch calculate your target zone automatically for the first few times, then turn off the automatic feature because it can get annoying. The audible alarm (warnings when you are outside of your zone) is also annoying (but can be turned off.) Customer Service: Very good customer service reps, although took longer than expected to receiver the monitor. Similar Products Used: None
