I bought this on sale (hence the lower than MSRP price, which is about $40), and have loved having it. I was put off by the larger hydration systems that seemed to be covered in frills and took up lots of space, but the FlashFlo's fanny pack style keeps it small and manageable. It has enough space in the back for a few snacks or a CD/MP3 player (like my SlimX), and the fanny pack's wide straps and durable mechanisms are built to last. The compression straps are also wonderful. As the water level goes down, the bag gets smaller and smaller. So you just pull the compression straps in a little to keep the pack snug against your lumbar, and prevent jostling or discomfort.
I take this bag everywhere I go, even if it isn't into the mountains. Drinking lots of water all at once is a great way to slow yourself down. Drinking a little bit of water regularly is very healthy, and with the ease and convienence of this bag, I can stay hydrated anywhere. Customer Service:
I haven't had to deal with CamelBak service yet because after over three years with this bag, I haven't had a single problem with it. My sincere hope is that the service is as good as the bag, should something go wrong. Similar Products Used:
Since purchasing the FlashFlo I've bought a CamelBak Unbottle for longer trips. I've also used lots of Nalgene bottles, bike style water bottles, and so on.
