Day Hiker
Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: Bought one of these for light day hike trips. Just wanted the 70oz of water, but the small zipper pocket supplies ample room for my wallet, keys, small camera, small first aid kit and a few granola bars. I usually tuck my map under the bungee on the outside of the pack (use ziploc if raining) and the mesh pocket provides room for some other small items if needed. Very happy with it. Was surprised with how comfortable the straps were and how well the pack seemed to mold & fit on my wife and my back. I'm 6'1" and shes 5'6". I never buy a pack without a waiste buckle, and this pack has one, it's even removeable. Simple, light and cheap... fits the bill. I only paid $40 at Dick's Sporting Goods.

at Big 5 Sporting Goods Summary: My boyfriend and I each bought one of these packs on half-price sale at Big 5 and have been very satisfied. They are perfect for long bike trips and the bite valve makes it easy to drink from. I find that the 70oz capacity is sufficient to go on a 30-35 mile bike ride on a hot day without refilling it. The pocket for the water is nicely insulated. The included waist-strap is a nice feature as is the large exterior pocket for stowing a few extras. Definitely a good value for the money we paid.
