Price Paid:  $75.00 at REI

Summary:
An amazing pack- weighs considerably less than 4lbs, has a capacity of around 3000ci, and a suspension system that does not flinch at loads in excess of 40lbs. The pack is totally continuously adjustable along every dimension, making it very easy to dial in a perfect fit- it's the most comfortable pack I've ever used (and I've used a great great many!). All in all the REI Cima series represents the best combination of weight and load carrying capacity out there (even though the packs came out _before_ the go-lite craze really took off). The tragedy is that for some reason these packs never really sold well and were discontinued. I suspect that, given the current light-weight obsession, if they were to appear today they would be great sellers and REI should seriously consider a second run for these excellent packs.
