Summary:
This is my first pack. I love it. I used it on a 7 day backpack trip in the High Sierras in the summer. A smaller pack but really I had room to spare. I had no trouble w/the waist belt or shoulder straps loosening. I was the lightest-packed person on the trip, not because I didn't carry my share. My pack was just not oversized. I really like the sleeping bag compartment. Plenty of external straps to strap on extra items. I can't say I have any complaints about this pack-although I do have very limited experience.

Summary:
It is a pack for kids as listed at its manufacturer's website, but it fits me for I am a small body. I bought it for my 4-month trip to Nepal and Northwestern China. I like its simple design that nothing is redundant. The convertibility of the top pocket to a lumbar pack with built-in straps is useful for short walks around town. It can actually carry more than as claimed by its manufacturer. The padded hip belt was very comfortable even when it's heavy on my back, but it got loose in the later half of my trip. I have to readjust it quite frequently when I have it on my back for hours. The buckles of the shoulder straps also got loose quite easily and I think its adjustable back system may need some improvement. In overall, it's an acceptably good pack, at its price, for those who asking for simple rather than fancy design, it's a good choice.
