Summary: These one piece leather boots are all what I was wishing for.
Lower price since I did not have to pay the brand name. High comfort due to Alpina's custom fitting system. Quality is great-I walked across the Alps and the boots are still in great shape.
Customer Service: great customer service. they called after my purchase asking about my opinions. offered advice for the use and maintenance of the boots.
