Price Paid:
$30.00
at bargainoutfitters.com Summary: I purchased these boots on closeout for $30.00 from bargainoutfitters.com, not knowing what I was going to get. Although, I have mostly worn them around town and some short hikes with scouts, I have been extremely impressed by the boot and the value. The real test will be to see how they do with a fully loaded pack. I am a 7.5 but ordered a size 8, this seems to be about right with this boot (besides it was the only size they had at this price.) Backpacker
, from earth Summary: I just got these (i know you're saying ""oh yeah, great time for a durability review) but they fit really well for slightly narrower feet like mine, though they do run a bit small in the sizing. These are the GTX by the way, nice stiff vibram sole, goretex liner, and i was lucky and got mine for $100 cdn, down from 220! I'm going to have to come back later for a longer term review but they look and feel solid so far... Customer Service: Similar Products Used: I've also tried a pair of merrels that seemed a bit too clunky and a pair of vasque smoothouts that were too stiff in the ankle, too tall for my tastes.
