at Adventure 16 Summary: OK, so the other reviews are accurate--these are great boots. However, a word of caution: make sure you're fitted correctly! Mine have fantastic support, waterproofing, etc. I know boots fairly well and they are well-constructed too. But, I just finished a 16 mile day hike up Mt. San Jacinto near Idyllwild, CA and my feet are hamburger. These were not the right boots for my foot, especially not on a hot trail (80 degrees plus). I have a lower volume foot and this caused far too much movement in the boot. Additionally, because they're such great waterproof boots, they don't breathe terribly well--a bad combination for me. To be fair, I would absolutely consider these boots--just don't make the mistake of buying based on what other people recommend. Make sure it fits your foot! Similar Products Used: None

Day Hiker
, from Aspen, Colorado Summary: EXCELLENT BOOTS for trekking. Superb craftsmenship from a reputable company. Only difficult is finding a Boreal dealer. I purchased mine online from http://www.shorelinemtn.com/ (shore line mountain) and received excellent service from Tom. Keep in mind that sizes are U.K., so if you wear a size 11 US order a size 10. Customer Service: If you want to contact Boreal...www.borealusa.com...give them a call, and they will be helpful...do not expect an email reply.
