Day Hiker
, from San Angelo, Tx Summary: Danner boots are by far the best in terms of durability and quality. My first pair were issued by the military six years ago and have been with me on deployments around the world, keeping my feet dry and warm without fail. Bought my Mt Light II's a month ago and have had no problems...don't anticipate any either. Danner makes good stuff...I highly recommend these! Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None

Day Hiker
, from Washington, DC USA Summary: I have a pair of Danners that are 10"" high and designed for colder weather... I think they're called sasquatch, but I could be wrong... anyway, Danner makes great quality stuff. I've used these for ice fishing, upland game hunting, hiking, various fishing expidetions, mowing the lawn, moving furniture... totally waterproof and hard toed for protection. They are the best boots I've ever owned; as soon as they're worn out, I'm ordering a new pair. Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None

Backpacker
, from Atlanta, GA Summary: My Danner Vortex Hikers $139 are with me as I work as a landscaper, hike recreationally, and do merit badge counceling for the hiking and backpacking merit badges in scouts. They've taken a solid year of abuse and are still in good shape! My son has a pair and wears them to school every day. A friend has a pair. I've sold two pairs to strangers while in the store, to the amazment of the shop clerks! I tried numerous boots, and rank them over the Vasque Sundowner and Newbrier, both about $189, which were much stiffer on my feet. The Danners broke in in just a day or two of casual walking. Buy Them! Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None
