Price Paid:  $132.00 at altrec.com

Summary:
Purchased a pair of the La Sportiva Storm Lady GTX
boots and found them to be a bit tight and about a half size too small,
even though I bought them in my usual hiking boot size..I ended up sending
them back to the company, but plan on REpurchasing in a larger size.

Customer Service:
the customer service reps at altrec.com were very helpful..they just dont have the larger size I need, so Ill be REordering directly from the manufacturer

Similar Products Used:
Vasque, Merrill

Reviewed by: S.Y. Foo ,  Day Hiker , from Warrensburg, MO

Price Paid:  $190.00 at Direct from La Sportiva

Summary:
The La Sportiva Storm GTX are wonderful hiking boots. Extremely comfortable (even for my 2E size feet!) and very well-constructed (Handmade in Italy). The traction is fantastic. It makes me feel like an all-terrain vehicle ready to conquer any slopes. I walked 14 hours non-stop during my last hiking trip with the Storm GTX, and my feet were still alive! (I admit that my knees felt a little sore)

The Gore-Tex waterproofing is legendary. My feet felt dry throughout the trip. Just to make a point, the Storm GTX are my rainshoes when I am not hiking.

Customer Service:
La Sportiva has a group of experienced and courteous sale representatives. They know their products well. I have absoulutely no problems getting the correct shoe size that fits me.

Similar Products Used:
L.L. Bean, Vasque, Merrell and Nike ACG.

Reviewed by: Lee Sindet ,  Day Hiker , from Harmony NJ USA

Summary:
This is the best boot I have ever placed on my foot! The fit is glove-like. I have used them for day hikes over very rough terrain. The ankle support is amazing. I plan on using them on extended backpacking trips this year. All La Sportiva boots are first rate. This is my second pair. I will never buy any other brand! They are very waterproof also because of their gore-tex storm sock liner.

Customer Service:
I have delt with their customer service a few times. They are always willing to help. They all seem very into their product.

Similar Products Used:
I have used Vasque boots, Merrill boots, and Technica boots, all of which cannot even begin to challenge the quality of La Sportiva boots
