Summary:
Extremely comfortable footwear. They don't feel like hiking boots at all; more like a pair of basketball shoes. The Torrent provides a very light tread that's easy on the feet, requiring very little break-in time. And the waterproofing is an added bonus since I live in a country battered by rainstorms. They look good too, whether on the rugged trail or on the pavement. I can't wait to conquer a mountain on these shoes!

Summary:
Exceptionally comfortable boots. I have used them on 5 - 10 day trails and also trail running over ruggard country. They keep you light on your feet but offer more stability and protection than a below ankle shoe. Being waterproof is a great advantage. These are also great for world travel because you can use them on trails but they are fashionable and comfortable to use on the street.
