, from Apex, NC Summary: I picked up these boots at an REI scratch and dent sale...they were already broken in!! Pretty pricey if purchased new. The size runs a bit small but overall a well built, comfortable boot that has kept my feet dry in wet weather. A sudden downpour drenched these boots inside and out because rain ran down the ol leg right inside....needless to say, it took a long time for these boots to dry. I like the leather trim on the inside of the boot. My concerns: the tread on the sole has small chunks missing...and I don't trust the single stitching areas of the boot....stitching needs double rows for durability. My single stitched Asolo's are coming apart.

, from Raleigh, NC USA Summary: I have had mine for two years now and love them. They are very comfortable, broke in easy, and have kept my feet absolutely dry. I have waded through streams and never gotten a drop of water through the boots. I hope they still make these when mine wear out.
My only negative comment is that they squeek! Similar Products Used: None

, from Provo, Utah Summary: These are replacements for my good ol' Raichle Rowland boots--may they rest in peace after hundreds of faithful miles. Unfortunately, I have not used these boots as much as I would like to. Overall I think they are wonderful. Very supportive and great overall feel. They cinch up nicely for downhills. Great boots overall for trekking. Customer Service: My other Raichle's lasted for 8+ years of serious punishment. Similar Products Used: None

, from Berkeley CA Summary: These boots are wonderful. They keep my feet dry, they are comfortable, and they provide excellent support. I am an experienced hiker and I have gone through a number of different hiking boots. I only write reveiws for a piece equipment if I am completely satisfied with it. I highly recommend this boot. Customer Service: Raichle is a name you can trust. Years of boot design + Swiss craftsmenship = an excellent product Similar Products Used: boot brands: North Face and Vas.
