Summary:
This boot has proven itself to me, having owned and worn continuously for the last year and a half, using it as an fifty-mile hiking boot as well as average street wear. Although after this year and a half the heel finally wore through to the air pocket so now I am going to have them resoled through Vasque, so far the customer service has been great and they have recomended that I use the Super Hiker sole since I requested a beefier tread design. Also as a side note, the rep in the Red Wing store informed me that even the soles say "Skywalk" the sole is made by the Vibram Company of the same famous materials as the name implies. I also own the GTX model and this model has proven equally well but only for longer and have just replaced the insoles with SuperFeet so we will se if they perform any better.

Summary:
I have just purchased a pair of these boots at a great price from sportsmansguide.com and they seem to have a long, and excellent list of top notch features, they fit and wear well. I am very conserned though on the durability of these for say, over a 2,160 mile hike? The tread seems light. Can someone please respond to this boot. I have seen excellent reviews for other Vasque hikers and am hoping this boot follows the same lines for dependability.

Customer Service:
None, and hopefully never.
