I got the +5 model after it was discontinued,so it sat stuffed in a plastic bag for at least a year.I've shaken and beaten(very gently)but can't seem to regain original loft,or so I think.Why do manufacturers stuff thier bags for shipping and turn around and tell us not to store them this way? Other than that little qualm,It's actually treated me fairly well on summer climbs around 8000ft in the north cascades, although I have not tested the extreme parameters yet. Customer Service:

i really like this bag. I always use it outside a tent, and am fine with it.. usually hot actually. It is a little tight aroudn the feet, otherwise its a good choice! Similar Products Used:

I've used my bag, a JALAPENO 5, in all 4 seasons here in NM. I've always stayed warm, having slept in and outside of my tent. I like it! A little tight through the knees... Similar Products Used:

I've had the Jalapeno for 2 years, and found it to be a good 3 season bag. I've froze in it in the winter however, and also am finding that the neck baffle is starting to rip from being tightened all the time
