Price Paid:  $168.00 at northernmountain.com

Summary:
The Moonstone was an alternative for the Western Mountaineering bag I coveted, but just couldn't afford. When I received the sale notice from northern mountain supply, I decided why not, based on the value, and gear reviews of Moonstone products in Backpacker mag and at this site. The loft and quality of the stiching are very good. I was impressed with the zipper being almost impossible to snag. This bag doesn't have a draft collar so there is only one string to adjust for the hood, which clinches down nicely. There's no velcro tabs and misc. junk to snag or stick. I'm a stocky kind of guy at 5'7" and around 185, and I found the bag roomy with extra space to keep some clothing and gear warm. If you are a real string bean, you may have some trouble heating the extra space. It's hard to rate the bag temp wise because everyone is different, but after 2 hours napping on a moist, and windy 34 degree evening, I was very warm and comfortable.

Summary:
The bag is wonderful, although there has been a little confusion with the naming system. (my bag is labeled a Zone 2, but is rated at 10/25. It is light and warm (and within my budget.)Mine has a removable hood for warmer weather (leave the hood in the fleece-lined stuff sack for a nifty pillow.) The zippers allow for good venting. A solid bag.
