at www.nothernmountain. Summary: Overall this is a decent bag. I have had it for 4 years and I feel it has lost a substantial amount of its warmth. I remember on my first few outings with the 3rd dimension I was very warm. On a winter ascent of Mount Sneffels I stayed warm down to around -5 F. Recently however, I have been cold in this bag around 15 F. I realize that washing a sleeping bag can affect its warmth rating and therefore I have only washed it once. I also store it in the cotton storage sack provided with the bag. Even so it is not nearly as warm as it used to be. I realize that over the years constant use and repeated compression wear down the polarguard but I don't feel it should have such a significant affect on the warmth (or lack of). For now on I will use the 3rd dimension as my 3 season bag and will probably go with Western Mountaineering for my winter bag. Overall I'm a bit dissapointed but still recognize that the bag excelled in its first year of use. Customer Service: Never needed it. MHW is a quality company with great workmanship. Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: This bag rated -18 in Canada. It's a pretty bulky bag and I wouldn't recommend it if you are a 5'6", 140 lb woman. It didn't keep me warm at 0 C, probably because it's too wide and a bit too long as are most 'Regular' length bags. If you are an averaged sized woman, try and find the "Small" size. With a compression sack however it can get nice and small.

at Sunrift Summary: I also have a down upgrade which zips in nicely. The Dimension has kept me warm many evenings in the NC Mountains. It is sufficient for my needs in cold weather and combined with the upgrade is unstoppable in the extreme cold. With a nice compression sack you can stuff this thing anywhere. My favorite aspect is the length. I am 6'2" and the bag fits perfect. Similar Products Used: MTn. Hardware down upgrade
