Price Paid:  $49.00 at Dicks

Summary:
I picked up the Northface Windstorm at an end-of-season closeout at Dicks. The 35 degree rating is in between the zero-degree and summer-only bags I own and the $49 price tag was hard to beat. This extremely light synthetic bag has cut quite a few pounds off my pack weight for spring and fall treks. The 35 degree rating is definitely over-stated. In skivies it's good to 45 degrees and with long underwear it's still a stretch to 35 degrees. It's well constructed and the zipper and drawchord are easy to reach. I've used the bag wet and it still performed well.
