Summary:
Western Mountaineering is simply the best! The Super Antelope MF is a furnace. At Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in October, 2002 when I went backpacking I had 2 nights where it went down to 10 degrees fahrenheit.I had to vent the bag both nights as I was sweating. The loft of the bag is simply incredible. The quality is superb. The bags are expensive but there is no better bag out there.

Summary:
I have done lot of research and came to the conclusion that this bag belongs to the best of the best. WHY? Because when you sleep in this bag, the upper part of bag gives warmth like a good blanket, but it will only touch you at two or three points on you body. Dont ask me how they do it, but it is great. This will increase the insulation (the more air there is the better!)

Summary:
Incredible attention to detail, not your average bag, comparable to Feathered Friends, exept WM doesn't do nearly as much custom stuff. The micro fiber works really well. I've used this bag for 3 years and it is still really water resistant. The micro fiber breathes better than the dryloft, it's also more compressable, cheaper, etc. This bag is rated to 5 degrees f. I have no reason to doubt that. I have had it in 0 numerous times with no problems. the zipper stiffening works extremely well, no snags, ever!

Feathered Friends (great) marmot, very good as well. North Face good if you cant afford the above, but you'll look like a tool.

Price Paid:  $325.00 at local outfiter

Summary:
After researching bags I chose this bag over many others and I have not been disappointed. The coldest I have slept in is 15 and I didn't even have to cinch the Super Collar around my neck. Very warm bag. The Super Micro Fiber is touted as being very water resistant but I believe if you really want water proofness as opposed to water resistance I would spend the extra for the dryloft. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. You definitely get what you pay for with this bag. Killer collar and the hood fits around your head and face perfectly. The draft tube works well and there are no zipper snags with this bag. If you want the best, Western Mountaineering is definitly the way to go.
