Summary:
Letter to Wiggy.

Mr. Wiggy

Love the new bag, and thank you for the prompt service last fall.

Used the bag for the first time on an ID Elk hunt (two days after delivery), this time I was traveling without the wall tent. The Temp the night before was 0 degrees F, colder in the low spots per the thermometer in the cab.
Hunted that day without seeing any Bulls and made a quick camp that night (doubting I would get any sleep due to the cold). My partner arrived early the next morning having suffered in his heavy (not a Wiggy’s) bag under the canopy of his truck with a small propane heater, and seemed quite surprised to find me still asleep in the sub-freezing temp. I slept without waking, and due to the cold in the lean-to was very reluctant to climb out of the bag that morning.
Note: The bags I used under me for padding, sounded like Velcro strips being separated as they were unrolled, with ice (frost) falling to the grass floor of the shelter.(We had used them a month earlier with the big tent and stove, they felt dry to the touch prior to loading them for the trip)
I’ve used the bag since then with similar results. I have also found the 0 degree bag very comfortable in the wall tent at 60 degrees with a fresh load in the stove, to below freezing when things burn down.
I build camps out of the wind and rain, pretty basic stuff. 2 lbs of tarp and a 5 lbs Wiggy’s “Hunter” bag stuffed into the pack sack, and home is where I stop for the night.
The best money I’ve spent to date for cold weather camping.

Thanks for the great product.
