at no free ads, sorry Summary: bye bye thermarest. This pad is light, doesn't pop, has a pillow pocket, makes a stand for your pack when attached to the bottom. It does break in with use and becomes easier to roll up. It's makes a great quick seat pad for snow breaks is quite comfortable to sleep on. (to answer below ?, they bought it from metolious) Similar Products Used: None

at REI Summary: Used this several times and found it to be light, warm and comfortable. Difficult to compress, but have not bought or tried the compression bag made for the pad. Easy to care for and DWR helps to keep pad dry. Have not used it more than three nights in a row, so I dont know about the problems listed. However, I am a big guy at 6-1 210 and found no problems sleeping at night. There is no pocket on this, but you can unzip it at the head and put in a fleece and then zip it closed. Just no "pocket". Customer Service: None Similar Products Used: Nothing, Thermarest

$55.00 Summary: Nice pad. Sleeps well. Just do not let the foam get wet or it is like sleeping on a sponge.. And in extreme cold, you still need to throw a pad underneath. One question.. Did Mountain Hardware buy or steal the design from metolius? Similar Products Used: None

Backpacker
, from Fayetteville, AR Summary: Bought this pad because I was sick of hanging off a therma-rest 3/4 length and had read good things about the pad in Backpacker magazine.
Design is good and the built it keeper strap makes stowing much quicker than the therma-rest. Neat little mesh box at end of pad allows h20 to drain out, or at least that is the only thing I can think of. The red side isn't too rough on bare skin, and should wash up rather nicely. No pillow pocket unlike other MH pads. Don't understand way this pad doesn't have one.
Initially comfort was on par with my therma-rest, but after the third night the form definitely seemed to have compacted a little. Great for on the back sleeping, but a little thin for on the side. I'm 5-9, 160 lbs, so if you're a big guy maybe this isn't the pad for you.
All in all, for 55 USD, worth it. Going to get some more closed cell foam, cut to fit the cover and stick under the stock foam. Biggest thing is that it rolls up fast, attaches to MH bags/bivy sacks, washable cover, and NO HOLES to let out air.
Give it a serious look. Customer Service: Pack Rat, Fayetteville employs posers who give customers a hard time. Similar Products Used: Therma-rest, various models Ridge Rest Closed cell foam, GI closed cell foam
