, from Marietta, GA, USA Summary: Possible answer to the 1/3 fuel problem mentioned below - Retighten: After cooking with the stove one morning, I noticed the flame was dieing. I went to remove the empty canister and noticed there was still fuel. I decided to retighten it a little tighter. Relit the flame and it came back to full strength.
So far, it's been working great for the past year. With the tiny Snow Peak cannister, it weighs little for backpacking and lasts all weekend. I pack a piece of tin foil in my kit for an additional windscreen. Similar Products Used: Coleman 662, duel fuel, one burner. Sterno

at www.campman.com Summary: This is a great stove for the money. I had the one with the piezo igniter. For $25, you get great fuel efficiency, light weight, and a piezo igniter. I don't know what's wrong with everyone's igniters, but mine worked flawlessly every time for two years or so until I upgraded to a Dragonfly. The windshield/heat reflector is a joke. It's just a warped rounded piece of aluminum that has notches in it for resting on the undersides of the potholders, which it does rather insecurely. The potholders offer little stability for even a 1-liter pot. You must constantly be holding it or it will tip. In addition, once you get into the lower temperatures, -15F and lower, the stove just dies. That was the main reason I moved to a Dragonfly Overall, it’s a great stove. Aside from the faults listed above, nothing is terribly wrong with it. With its easy setup and GREAT piezo igniter, it's up and cooking in less that a minute with no priming or matches. That has to be the best thing about it, and the aspect I miss most. It's perfect if you need a stove for Boy Scout outings, or things of that nature. It served me well for 2 years.

at REI Summary: This stove is awesome. Used it on a 5-day trip in the lower Enchantments in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and I couldn't believe how well it performed for how light it was. Cooked our meals in 3 minutes when my dad was waiting 10 for his! Similar Products Used: None
