at Galyan's Summary: Cold Stone is the best back pack I have found on the market for the price. I use this pack for school, mainly, and somewhat for biking and day treks. For a small, non-framed pack it is sturdy on the body and adjusts in enough ways to distribute weight evenly. The secondary compartment at first seemed small and non-utilitarian until I started loading school supplies into it; disks, pens, calculator, etc. It became apparent to me that what once seemed small was truly cavernous. I knew this was the pack for me when the coffee thermos I carry around in the cover flap leaked when I layed my pack down during a class. When I realized what had happened, my natural response was to grab some paper towels ASAP and soak it up (which I did). After inspection, however, the pack was completely dry inside and after a light wiping with a damp towel, not one sign of the coffee Chernoble remained. Only need is a webbing on the cover flap or a webbing on the pocket for quick access to a water bottle or smaller items. Similar Products Used: JanSport The North Face Lowe Alpine (excellent as well)
