Summary:
I saw this in a small equipment repair shop, and immediately fell in love with the design and fit. It hugs my body like few other packs, keeping the load close to my center of gravity. The fit and finish of my pack is great, with super-strong stitching, burly zippers, and thoughtful accessory loops. Initially I thought that the large piece of nylon fabric facing my back would suck for hot weather, but that turned out not to be the case. I wear this pack year-round as y Search And Rescue pack, and am constantly amazed at how comfortable it is, even after9-10 hours in the field. Wookey rates this pack at 680 cubic inches, but it easily accomodates double that using the expansion straps without throwing my center of gravity off much at all.

For SAR, we are required to carry a pretty full load of equipment, and it all fits in my pack quite nicely, with the exception of my rescue line, which i store in a sewed-on pouch on the top of the pack. I HIGHLy recommend this pack. By the way, I'm 5'3, and weigh about 165lbs, to give you an idea for sizing purposes. And no, i don't work for them, or even KNOW anybody at WOOKY. I just love that pack!!!
