This is a great pack. The load carrying ability of the Couloir is amazing. It can easily carry 40 pounds. The hipbelt and shoulder straps are heavier duty than those on my 2500 cubic inch pack. I use this pack as my snowshoeing pack. After 2 years, it shows almost no wear. It's expensive, but the best always is. Customer Service:
