at Sprots Authority Summary: My Aires has withstood days of direct sunlight, down pours and even snow. I have owned this tent for five years and it has proven to be the best purchases I have ever made for my camping equipment. I’m currently trying to transition to ultra-light backpacking, at 5.1 lbs the Aries is my piece of “heavy equipment” in my backpack. Last night after hiking nine miles on New York’s Finger Lakes Trail I set up my Aries in what felt like minuets, crawled inside and thought to myself that I think I may just need to sacrifice the extra weigh for comfort and dependability. at eBay Summary: I've had this tent for maybe 4 years and lived in it for months at a time. Its proven completely reliable and I hesitate to buy any other tent because it could only invite disappointment. After 4 years I washed and re-waterproofed the fly and now its tearing apart so I may have to buy a new one. Note though, this sat for months out under mississippi and Texas august suns so maybe thats why the fly has gotten brittle.

at Target Summary: I picked this tent up at Target on clearance a few years back. I have used it a lot. It is rated for two, and large enough, but I am tall and like to use it alone. It has proven very water proof. One summer on the shore of Superior we were camped on a sandy area and were caught in a terrific downpour. The sand became a lake under our tents. The floor of the tent felt like a waterbed. But all the water stayed outside.I would highly recommend this tent but only for Fall and Spring as it is too hot in high temperature months. Customer Service: Have not needed Similar Products Used: I use a Big Agnes Seedhouse during warmer weather

at sports challet Summary: The Aries tent did well in my book. The first time i used it was in 2000 on a trip to Mammoth mtn. the only problem was i woke up and the it was wet everywhere from condensation. If this is normal ok but i dont know?? The last trip was to pyramid lake and it did great in the wind no condensation set up is very quick, very light overall i think its a great setup for a person whos into a tent for sleeping and not hanging out in .. Customer Service: have no idea never used them? Similar Products Used: first tent i have purchased

at mc sports Summary: Good all around basic backpackers tent. Used mine on a lot of backpacking trips in Michigan and rafting trips in West Virginia. Good placement in strong winds and rain is key to making this tent's rainfly work well. I have used it in some pretty tough spots on Lake Superior and it performed great.
