We bought the 6-person version of this tent to have more space with our two growing kids. In weight, it's not a backpacking tent any more (what we used to have), but sets up as easily. The construction proved to be well suited for summer camping with quite heavy thunder showers. We were in the woods, so wind speed was not a factor. Big minus (which could be easily improved by Eureka) is that the seams of the rain fly do not come sealed. It took us some time to make them water proof, and the seam sealer which came with the tent did not work. Customer Service:
