Thought I should write something about a tent that has been a true friend for the last couple of years.
I bought by Hilleberg Keron 3GT about six years ago at a price that initially seemed steep. I paid up, following strong recommendations from friends. Here are my views - since I'm not a salesman I'll start with the negatives.
The tent is huge, and in many places you'll find that the earth (i.e. ground) is not necessarily flat. However, you can usually find a space that is flat and large enough for the main section of the tent (where you sleep), and then simply accept the fact that your backback and all the other stuff in the vestibule will not be resting completely horizontal.
More negative sides? Ok, the weight is an issue for some hikers. It is a solid 8 lbs, and if you are into the lightweight school that might be completely unacceptable (stop reading here, then).
More cons? Sorry, I can't think of any.
What about the pros?
Well, if you have been in weather for a couple of days or so that is so terrible that you are reluctant to even venture outside the tent you will certainly appreciate the extra room in this tent.
It may rain hard, but you will be dry and safe inside this tent (you know what I mean!). And you have plenty of space to leave all those wet gear in the vestibule. And if you are ever craving something extra to keep you warm, the space in one of the vestibules can be used for cooking a cup of java (taking the necessary precautions etc.)
I've had some hard-core lightweight campers make fun of my tent when the weather was nice ("why do you bring this turtle of a tent?") and then, when the weather turned nasty, were more than happy to spend the next 48 hours in my tent.
What about the bulid quality? As far as I can tell, you'll need some very serious Katarine magnitude hurricane or some destructive grizzly to finish this tent off.
Colours (it is green) and fashion I don't care about. This is a very serious tent for everyone not too concerned about the weight.

High quality materials. Never had a piece of equipment with this kind of super design that looks deceivingly simple. Everything has its meaning. The tunnel shape guarantees good ventilation. The form and location of the zippers. The fabric that is just that little bit stronger. The storm lines in bright red and white that never get tangled. Inner pockets and hangers to keep you organised in your tent. The form and size of the stuff bag. Easy to insert and get out the pooles. You can put it up (and take it down) alone in storm weather. No experience with winter conditions. Excellent in rain, windy and warm conditions. You can put up the inner tent on itself in warm conditions and be protected from mosquitos. Customer Service:
