at rei-outlet Summary: One word. Amazing. I'm not saying this tent is a Bibler, but it has worked miracles for me during the past few years. The White Mountains, High Sierras, Mt. Madera, Michigan's UP, everything. The other reviews describe it best, but with even with a half-ass sleeping bag, this is easily a 3+ to 4 season tent. Customer Service: No problems, rei treats you well, but save your receipt just in case. Similar Products Used: Sierra Designs Cosmos. Mountain Hardwear Bat Ray 2

at Mountain Gear Summary: The Marmot Hardshell has been a very useful tent. I have used it primarily as a backpacking tent. It packs supper small and is exceptionally light. Great ventilation and water tight. The vestibule is perfect for two backpacks. Very quick and easy set-up! I have the Marmot Citadel 4-season tent that use for climbing various Cascade Volcanoes. This Hardshell will be replacing the Citadel on solo trips per it weight and design. I believe it will prove itself in high winds when anchored. Good luck with futures adventure. , from SoCal Summary: I've been extrordinarily pleased with this tent. not only is it only five pounds, but it is plenty big enough for two if you leave the packs out. Great in cold weather, and watertight. With a decent sleeping bag and tying out the tent and fly, this is a full four-season tent.
and good ventilation in the summer too (though if you are only going to use it in warmer climates, i'd go with the Nutshell instead). Similar Products Used: Sierra Des., TNF

, from College Park, MD Summary: Bought this tent several months ago. Easy to set-up, good ventilation and very sturdy. The floor is reinforced to be very waterproof. A bit tight for two people plus gear but I appreciate the the light weight esp. when carrying it during a long distance backpacking trip. The burrito style stuff sack is godsend.
