at valhalla pure Summary: well i have now used this tent for 3? years now.. its ok. I have destroyed 1 fly, 1 pole and the floor of the tent. All were replaced quickly or fixed. i wish there was more pockets inside the tent, although there is some "hidden pockets" in the roof. The new MSR (they make this tent) tent that took over the terramoto comes with a gear loft. The vestibule is good for boots, thats it..
and well im still happy with the tent, but as a guide i am currently looking for something else that is a bit more durable Customer Service: PERFECT.. always fast, friendly, and well yea . But I have had to use it a lot Similar Products Used: Most marmot 3 season tents, most MEC 3 and 4 season tents, sierra designs

at REI-Outlet Summary: Used the Terramoto 2.0 in March @Northern Arizona, elevation 7000 ft with 2 in of snow overnight. It was about 19 degrees F
with 40-50 mph windgusts. With the fly guyed out completely, the tent hardly
moved. 4 season storm flaps on the mesh
kept the wind and cold out. It has 2 lantern loops, but no gearloft as a option. The fly has a bright yellow-orange color vestible which aids in locating the tent at night or bad weather.
Extra guy loops on the fly for heavy wind and rain. Overall, an excellent value in a small tent, 31 SF/ 4 season from Walrus. Customer Service: Haven''t needed yet. Similar Products Used: MHW RWAV

at REI Outlet Summary: The Terramoto has one of the best weight to floor area ratios for a 3+ season tent. One one trip last summer, the first night was very warm and without the rainfly, the zip-open roof panels and rear window gave us a great view of the stars. On anouther outing, it showered on and off all night with no leaks. The only downsides are the small entrance and slightly cozy interior, but the weight savings is worth it. With the great ventilation, this tent will work from the Utah desert to the rainy Washington Cascades. Tip: dip the ends of the shorter pole in a can of paint..it will be easier to find later. Customer Service: No interactions, but I like their website. Similar Products Used: Kelty Vortex 2, Sierra Designs Stretch Dome, Eureka Hex-Dome.

at gear 2 go Summary: I purchased the terromoto because of its size and weight characteristics. I did a significant amount of research comparing tents and found the Walrus Terromoto to be a good choice. So far, I have been very pleased with the tent. It is light for its size and has been used in all 4 seasons. The tent is warm in the cold weather, and has excellent ventilation in the summer. I have heard Walrus makes a quality water tight tent. I sealed the perimeter seam before using and have spent numerous nights in very wet weather. The tent has performed flawlessly and has stayed very dry. Condensation has not been a problem with all the vent options. I would recommend this tent for 3+ season use. Customer Service: Have not had to use them. Similar Products Used: None

at REI Summary: I was looking for a lightweight, strong, no frills tent, that was reasonably priced, and this tent was everything I could ask for. The construction is high quality, and the materials seem sturdy. My only gripe is that the rain fly isn't perfectly tight, but It's probably as tight as anything under $350 I've seen. I couldn't rationalize the extra $100 for so little benefit. Similar Products Used: Walrus Skyline Kelty older hoop tent?
