Summary:
This is our 2nd walrus and have been extremely happy with both, with one
except the velodome when is heavy rain, did leak at the side seam. After sewing addition loops to pull the sides out slightly this was resolved. Great tent

Summary:
I have used this tent almost every weekend from Oct through March kayaking in the Florida Everglades. Normally I use it solo and there is ample room, when my wife comes along it does seem tight, its wide enough for two therma rests side by side. I have used this in some heavy downpours and high winds, I have always stayed dry. It takes the high wind just fine there are plenty of guy points The only problem I have found is on the sides, there should of been loops for a guy. The fly touches the side when it rains and a small amount of moisture does seep inon the side. I have sewn the loops in myself and am staying dry. For a beach camping tent its great, the front door has grommets on the bottom that allow it to be proped up and used as a sun shade with poles you supply. I have spent many days sitting inside the vestibule in a crazy creek chair with the door up completely out of the sun.

Customer Service:
The tent indicated it comes with two bags to splitthe tent between two people, I never got the second, but I havent called the company either, just dont need it. It packs small enough to fit in the bo

Price Paid:  $269.00 at Backcountry Equipmen

Summary:
This should be considered a mild weather tent only! Condensation is a horrible problem with this tent design. I was impressed with the materials and overall finish work but the lack of roofline vents make this tent a bad decision if you plan on any kind of cool weather use. The vestibule size is awesome but because of the moisture problem, I consider this tent to be worthless for my use.

Customer Service:
Yeah right!! Walrus acted like it didn''t matter to them at all if people liked their product or not. I''m considering calling Backcountry and seeing if we can work something out for a different tent.
