at Sierra Trading Post Summary: A very well built and spacious tent. Good for short backpacking trips in wet, and winter conditions. A little heavy for long trips in the woods. Very easy to put up since half the poles are integrated into the canopy. Like the way everything stores into elastic stuff sack. Have used several times in mountains, and can say with confidence, this is one bomb proof shelter. Equal to North Face Expedition tent, at a much lower price. Customer Service: none used Similar Products Used: North Face Expedition

Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: It's a bit heavy for backpacking at roughly 9 pounds, but is a superb shelter. It has taken all the rain I could manage to put it in the path of. Like I said a bit heavy, but what good four season tent isn't a bit on the beefy side. Good tent for anyone that needs a lower priced four season shelter . Customer Service: I have yet to use the Walrus costumer service . But it looks like they have you covered . Similar Products Used: First quality four season tent

at rei.com Summary: Just recently purchased the ARC 2 at an REI overstock sale price. The day after I purchased the tent we had a major rain storm come through, so I immediately set up the tent in my back yard. We received almost 4 in of rain in 24hrs and not a drop inside the tent. It is a little heavy for backpacking at 9.5 lbs but does provide all weather protection with some room to spare. The spacious vestibules allow for good gear storage and the skylight and 2 doors provide adequate ventilation in warmer temps. I wouldn't have paid retail for this tent but I probably wouldn't pay $300 for any tent. Customer Service: No experience with Walrus but REI gave me the usual high level of service I''m accustomed to. Similar Products Used: None
