Price Paid:  $45.00 at REI

Summary:
I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my daughter. I couldn't pass them up at this price. I don't think they are available anymore. It's actually a pretty good tent. I have no complaints about the quality. Has good ventilation and doesn't leak in the rain. The floor plan is not idea for fitting a lot of people in. There is room for two average adults and there gear. I am 5" 11" and would prefer something just a bit longer. Would be great for kids and shorter adults. Three people? Yeah, if one is under five. There is room for a twin bed air mattress. Headroom is good. The weight is acceptable for backpacking (5.5#) My only real complaint is that the setup/take down time is more than necessary because the poles thread through sleeves rather using clips. Other than this you can't beat it for the price.

Customer Service:
I've generally had good experiences with REI. No need in this case.

Similar Products Used:
I now have an ALPS Merrimac 4 for car camping and a Kelty San Miguel 2 for backpacking. Both were REI "special purchases" as was this Wenzel. REI really has some buying power to offer tents at super prices.
