, from Santa Barbara, CA Summary: after 5 years and loads of heavy usage on trails and in caves, i've finally retired these boots. fantastic. can't remember if i've ever had a blister. if you don't use them caveing, i bet you'd get to use them a lot longer. wish they were still avaliable. used them around the wonderland trail, parts of the AT, and through the rainforest. at Reyers Shoes - Sharon PA Summary: I love these boots. I have had mine for four years and have logged hundreds of miles on them. They were broken in the minute I put them on and only got better. At first I had a problem with slipping on rocks, but after a few wearings they were fine. My favorite part of the boot is probably the way that the sole wraps up around the back of the heel. This makes for much better traction on the downhill. My only problem is, now I can not find them to buy another pair. Similar Products Used: I have also worn Merrel, Soloman, and Red Wings.

, from Oregon Summary: This was my first boot, bought for the first backpacking trip I ever took, and seven years later they're still my favorite boots for not-too-strenuous hiking and backpacking. While friends of mine have had problems with the boot rubbing against the back of the heel, the boots have never given me any problems. I would definitely recommend them. Similar Products Used: None

, from Austin Summary: This boot is very well-made but I had exceptional problems with it rubbing my ankle bones on both feet (the bones on the inner part of the legs). I was completely miseable and sore and limping by the time of last hike. I traded them in and will not use them again because of this. This problem did not apear in the store but only after some wear.

, from Clayton, MO, USA Summary: They skywalk is a great boot, especially for mid-level backpacking. The gore tex keep your feet dry and cozy, and the cordura patches make the boots very durable. They are cut a little different from the sundowner, but are still an awesome boot. Mine survived a nasty day-hike through a chest deep bog! Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None
