Summary: Great buy if you have the cash. I bought them with the antibot plates which were chewed to shreds after the first trip. The teeth are vicious and more than adequate for alpine ice but very reassuring on waterfall. My only complaint is that when I used them for general mountaineering (yes, they're a bit heavy) the teeth directly behind the two frontpoints liked to bend outwards. I assume this was due to hours of my weight pressing on them on steep slopes, but all the same it seemed a bit odd, maybe it's just this pair. Anyway, nothing to worrying as the angle is barely noticable.
