These tools are very popular with women who climb ice! Made by Simond of France, they are low in weight but very strong. The low head weight is perfect for hooking existing tool placements (CO ice is often well traveled!) and it takes that much longer to pump out using them. Recommended for anyone but lumberjacks. Similar Products Used:
Charlet Moser Quasars are an extremely strong contender if you can swing them.
