Summary:
I purchased the Pack rather than a kayak because my dog hates to stay home. That and so many great paddling days that I could not find a paddling partner. The Pack fits well in the back of a pickup, as well.

I love this canoe. It is a great boat patterened after the "Little Nessie" of solo paddling fame. It is very light, and also very easy to paddle. It has great stability, both primary and secondary, which is nice when the dog in the bow decides to look off the port and starboard alternately. Though it does oil can a bit, as most royalex boats will, it stands up well to daily abuse. Paddling with a canoe paddle is a breeze due to the keel, which aids in tracking, but I prefer a 230 cm kayak paddle. This boat gets used several times a week!
