Price Paid:  $800.00 at CLC

Summary:
GREAT!
Built the boat in my attic and slipped it out the window. It took about 60hrs of actual build time over 4 months, and I'm very critical. Tech support was great, Kudos to CLC staff. the boat is very fast and is an eye grabber, tracks like a train and if you run out of room for gear you have too much.

Customer Service:
Very friendly and can talk you though any problem.

Summary:
I built a Chesapeake 17 over the course of about a year. Now that it's complete it is a great boat. Paddles well, tracks well, moves through the water with very little effort. I'm very pleased with the kayak overall.

Oh yeah, it's beautiful. Everywhere I take it people compliment the boat.

One note of caution: It took me at least double the 80-100 hour estimate to build. Maybe I'm slow but I think it would take some practice to hit that 80-100 hour mark.

Customer Service:
When I called with questions CLC was always right there with assistance. High marks for customer service.
