The Slice was my first flat bottom boat. I moved from the New Wave Sleek into the slice. I enjoyed the boat very much. It spins great, surfs like a dream, and hit's those eddies faster than anything I have ever paddled. Jut getting in the boat improved my hole playing abilities. I must say that it's a bit harder to roll than anything else I've tried. I found that I had to spend a bit of time to pad up the cockpit before I felt comfortable in it, but now thats done it fits like a glove. Overall I am very impressed. The one thing that I don't like is the new xytec plastic. I'm finding that it is very soft, especially in comparison with my new wave boat. If I had to change anything I would change that.
