Paddler
Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: After reading the review of the epic excalibur II I felt compelled to offer a differrent opinion. The excalibur II is entended for sprint racing.Think world class athlete, very fast boat, maximum effort for four minutes. This is too much paddle for the average fitness or distance paddler.
The excalibur mid is a much better choice for most people, especially women.I own both a mid and a II and I much prefer the mid.Yes epic paddles are beautifuly made and much lighter than most other brands.Go with Greg Bartons(Epic Paddles) recommendation, get the mid. Customer Service: Good. The collar on my II cracked after a couple of years. It was replaced free of charge. They are now made of a different material.Mine may have cracked from over tightening. Similar Products Used: I have tried most of the other paddles that are available.Speedblade,Vortex,Descente, lehmann, bracha, gut etc.
