Summary:
I have to take exception to the previous two reviews, upon which I based my decision to purchase this parka a little over a month ago.

First the plus(es): This jacket is light so it is confortable to wear. The hood works well for me. Pockets are generous.

First off the sleeves are too long. I have long arms myself and yet I need to roll the entire cuff up. The biggest problem for me is that there is not enough down insulation in a few key areas. In my coat the down in the arms keeps shifting to the back until there is none in the front. The action of bending ones arm apparently pushes the down away from the area. Therefore, one finds that it is needed to constantly adjust the down so that it covers the whole arm (even then it is not enough). If this isn't done then your arms will definitly feel the cold. The last couple rows in the back are also lacking (compared to the front).

What all this means is that you end up with is a high maintainence jacket with cold arms and a cold bottom.

Not recommended.

Awesome Parka! It like walking around in a sleeping bag - Very Warm! The internal mesh pocket is perfect for the nalgene bottle.

Summary:
I was so impressed with this pakra for myself, that I bought my sister, mother, and girlfriend the same parka. I used to hear them bitch about being cold, but no more. This thing is one warm mutha!
