Great vest! Stows compact. Expands to awesome warmth. Best use for me is for added unsulation on backpacking trips, and packs at night for a snoozing comfortable pillow. Perfect for these duties.

Summary:
I love wearing this vest. Easy to pack and easy to wear. Biggest down fall is that the feathers come out way to easily. Other than that, perfect vest for all weather conditions be it in on the trail or around town during the winter.

Summary:
Really warm, stylie vest. I love vests and wear this daily for hikes or to add insulation to my sleeping bag. On windy days it gets ditches for a wind proof fleece jacket. Really warm under a shell and super light. Great vest over all; zippers shouldn't constantly eat the material on this nice of a garment though.

Summary:
A totally decent vest. It is warm, reasonably light, and I always love the stow pocket. However, the zippers on the pockets are rather lame (they catch often) as I have found on a lot of TNF products. also, the hood: why? who wants a vest with a crappy little nylon hood? I do not understand, and never used mine once. otherwise, i was always quite happy with mine. I have since replaced it with a feathered friends helios, which i have found to be a far superior product, though at a somewhat higher price. The Nuptse, however, is a perfectly good vest, especially if you can get it on sale.

Summary:
At first I thought this was the greatest piece of cloting ever invented. I love the warmth but I don't like having to wear a fleece all the time with it because my arms are cold. I wish the fit was better. I have a large and it fits well around the chest but the back is to short. I tried on the xl but it fit so loosly around the chest that cold air would have just been sucked in through the arm holes. It leaks to much to.
