Price Paid:  $0.00 at the north face store

Summary:
Bought primarily for lift skiing. A little pricey; I bought it on sale, but still looked at it as a multi-year investment. Comfortable, though I would prefer to be a little more fully cut for layering. Warm -- the shell material doesn't feel as cold as nylon, and there's a thin fleece lining (so in late fall or early winter, you could wear this with just a t-shirt on a warmish snowy day (say 30 F) and be comfortable; not true with a typical nylon hardshell). Softer, stretchier, and more pleasant than the typical hardshell. A touch on the heavy side. Seems generally well made and innovative. I wish the hood were a little trimmer, and that the snow skirt were removable.
