at Fleet Feet Shoes Summary: The retarded "What describes your outdoor style?" doesn't make any sense and had no selections for "10k racer."
Anyway. This is the best distance trainer I've ever had. I have a fairly neutral pronation, and have struggled with the shoe manufacturers' tendency to tinker with shoes I've liked every time they need to "revitalize" their marketing for a new model year. This shoe provides great support, causes absolutely no leg pain, and holds up well. I'm about 300 miles into it -- training for the world's largest 10k, the Peachtree Road Race on the 4th of July -- and am now a loyal Brooks customer. I rate this a 4 on value cause it's so darned expensive, but it's 5+ on performance as the best trainer I've ever used.
New Balalnce blew it when they changed around the 851, Nike hasn't bee a solution for years, and my Saucony purchase disappointed me. Similar Products Used: 2000 Nike Pegasus, 2000 New Balance 852, 2000 Suacony Grid Swerve, 1999 New Balance 851 ... 1982 Nike Pegasus
