Summary:
The Nike Free comes with 2 sets of insoles the 5.0 padded insole and the more natural feeling 4.5 (with even less support) which is the one that I use. They are great for running and in my opinion the Nike Free is most comfortable when worn without socks. It is a well ventilated flexible shoe that allows you to actually feel the ground beneath your feet. This is a sensation that is difficult to describe, but one that I feel reluctant to live without now that I’m used to the “barefoot” way of running. These shoes are also said to help strengthen your feet, thus aiding in the reduction of sprains and similar injuries.
