Price Paid:  $85.00 at nike id.com

Summary:
it is one of the more comfortable shoes that i have worn... However if there is any explosion in your step when running there will be problems... Stability and tearing out of the fabric is common
I have gone through 2 pair and have had the same problems

Reviewed by: michael ,  Day Hiker , from Parsippany, NJ, USA

Price Paid:  $135.00 at Moscow, russia

Summary:
Its a great shoe, AND IT FITS!!!

I've been buying newbalance for YEARS, since i take a size 7EEEE. However, even New Balance in this size are getting harder and harder to find, only the top US models come in EEEE width. And DONT be fooled by the asian models that claim to be "4E", try them on and you will fins that they are barely D width.... Anyway here in Moscow, nobody even bothers to import ANY newbalance inthe wide sizes, so it looks like i was hoooped! But a resourceful shoe salesman recommended i try these... the XS model ( fits mens 5-7 ) was a bit too narrow, but the S model ( fits mens 7-9 ) was perfect. FITS LIKE A GLOVE!!!
A quick pull of the laces and the shoes are snug and secure. The padding is excellent, every bit as good if not better than the AbZorb stuff that New Balance uses. I would rate these shoes a TEN out of ten. They retail ( in US) for a reasonable US$85 ( everything's way too expensive here in Russia...) But even for what i paid here, they are well worth it!!!

Customer Service:
I HATE Nike's stupid website: Flash animations on every page, and no useful technical information ( I had to go elsewhere to get the performance data on these shoes!)

incidently, these shoes have an "air" compressed gas midsole insert, and BRS1000 Duralon Carbon rubber sole

lost and lots, new balance were good in the past, but they seems to be slipping badly ( no pun intended!)
