This review is of the shooting head (taper) and running line, in 6 and 9 weights; I use them with fast action 9' rods. These lines perform quite well, with very low memory and apparent stretch. Long casts are a breeze, and the line floats high enough in the water to make pick up smooth. Paid around $52 for the head and running line combined. Customer Service:

I have used the 6wt forward, sunrise color, on a number of 5wt rods
on lakes with dirty water in 60 degree + weather and would say that
the Ultra 3 is probably the best all around line I have used to date!
