For the angler no longer willing to settle for pliers that fail to cut just when you need them most, we offer two sizes of precision machined pliers field-tested for a full season, shop-tested for 1,000 cuts of 80-pound test Monel wire, 100 cuts of 250-pound Nylon-coated braided wire and after that still cut 7X mono with no problem.

Summary:
These are nice pliers. I have gotten them soaked and there's no rust on them at all. The snips are very sharp and will cut even fine 7x tippet material. The leather sheath (optional) has held up nicely, even after getting wet several times. They are very light-weight. I haven't really decided whether they are worth their cost though.
