Filson Rucksack

Description
This old style back pack is great for the outdoors person. Constructed from heavy cotton cloth, bridle leather and brass components, this rucksack will last a long time.

Summary:
THE classic rucksack on the market! (Though I haven't owned/used any of the packs from Duluth Pack, I'm sure they're also right up there with Filson.)

Customer Service:
Like Filson says, You might as well have the best! (And this was a killer deal off of eBay! The closest price on-line from other suppliers was $210.)

Similar Products Used:
An older, lighter-weight, cotton poplin one from Willis & Geiger. (Made in China; bought when Land's End owned W&G). Also have some typical technical packs, like MountainSmith.

Summary:
The cliche of backpacks. Spendy but worth every penny. Not exactly for technical ice climbing or such. But, instills some nolstalgia every time it's on the trail.
This becomes your pack for life. On campus, roadtrips, day crags, pubs, holiday shopping, it shines.

Customer Service:
Always easy to deal with the Filson store in Seattle.

Other misc. Filson luggage. All great.
