I have the Ultralite Disc #6 and for reels of its size I found this to have a terrific drag system and great, Hardy style. It's as smooth, and as well-built a reel that you'll find in its price range. Similar Products Used:

#2/3/4 is great reel for lighweight flyfishing. Too small to class 4. Drag can be adjusted to protect the thinnest tippets, but it has a great capasity of power in it's backpocket. Don't let this reel hit any rocks, you'll notice the results in the finish. You really hear the fish running! Similar Products Used:

If you need a high quality, bar stock reel that has very fine drag adjustment, then this is your reel. Drag works when wet (something alot of other reels won't do) and the reel is truly beautiful. I use the #7 on my six weight rod and it is perfect. You cannot go wrong with this model! Customer Service:

An excellent Spey reel. Importantly, the disk drag does not slip when it gets wet, unlike other brands (e.g. Ross). This is a lifetime reel, and it really sings like a Hardy only can!!! Customer Service:
